I would appreciate any information on John Broadaway, Revolutionary War Soldier, from Lincoln County Tennessee.

Question

There appear to be two John Broadaways in Lincoln County,Tennessee, both reported to be Revolutionary War soldiers, one died n 1827, one in 1841. There seems to be some confusion on which is which, and I would be appreciative of any information pertaining to documentation on either. This would be my ggggg grandfather, son of Samuel V Broadaway and Elizabeth Denton. born c 1755. Any help or direction would be gratefully received.

Is he the same one on the TNgennet for Wayne county?  I know it's not your Lincoln County, but there is a John Broadway listed on that roster.  In the search engine I typed John Broadway Lincoln County tennessee revolutionary war.  It was the second hit listed.
