WikiTree works on the principle of one family tree, not individual trees. There is collaboration on profiles so that the tree is sourced and accurate.

You must have a cousin sharing same ancestor as you smiley

As best I can tell, the PM creates profiles from cemetery records. You, currently, may not be a WikiTree member? But when you become one, you can add to the profile the current PM created. WikiTree is a collaborative site and we have no "my" family trees. We all know we belong to one worldwide tree and we share the tasks of creating profiles, sourcing them, and writing biographies for all profiles. I'm sure if you contact the current PM you can find a way to work together on this profile.

There's nothing that would prevent you from asking the profile manager the same question, and if they are not family or not actively managing/editing the profiles in your tree, they could be inclined to transfer them to you. However, if you're sharing a tree with another member or even a cousin, then it's not such a bad thing to collaborate on the profiles and help each other out with sources, facts, and improvements overall to the profiles.
