Hello, Carrie. Other Ridenour descendants who are (or were formerly) members of WikiTree have been working on sorting out the family histories based on documented records. For DNA to be useful, it needs to be aligned with high-quality "paper" genealogy. Perusing the surname pages https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/REITENAUER
, I see that there are many profiles in WikiTree for people of these names (it looks like the Reitenauer name comes from Alsace, and it morphed into Ridenour after family members emigrated). However, it looks like there are some big improvements needed in the information here.
You weren't logged in to WikiTree when you posted your question. Would you like to join us? If you do, you can add information about your DNA tests on a profile here, and you could add any sourced information you have to "the Tree." Membership is free.
