There's really no such thing as 'the Beer family' ... also FreeBMD has a dozen Mary Ellen Beers alone.

The best approach is just to build up your tree here and let overlaps with other people's families happen naturally. Whenever you try to create a new profile you'll be warned about potential duplicates and given the opportunity to review the possible match.
There are 1201 names at Wikitree of people with the name Beer. They are listed in the Find menu at upper right of this page. Look down the menu to Surnames. You can enter only the last name or both the first and last name.

Looks like her Husband, John Henry Beer, so I assume that Mary Ellen has a different maiden name.

+2 votes has a history of the Beer surname. It is of Anglo-Saxon origin, and is a locational name from any of the various places called "Beer," for example in Devonshire, Dorset and Somerset, recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as "Bera", and "Bere."

Based on your additional information that she married William Stanley Prince, the following information from the 1939 register should help:

Name: Mary E Prince
Gender: Female
Marital status: Married
Birth Date: 12 Jan 1890
Residence Year: 1939
Address: 2, Mount Pleasant
Residence Place: Bideford, Devon, England
Occupation: Unpaid Domestic Duties
Schedule Number: 2
Sub Schedule Number: 2
Enumeration District: WHEF
Registration district: 286 (1)
Inferred Spouse: William S Prince
Household Members:
William S Prince
Mary E Prince
Ernest Beer

Image (should be visible even without an Ancestry subscription):

The birth date for William S. Prince is given as 23 July 1889 and for Ernest Beer is 13 December 1891. I think Mary Ellen and Ernest mis-stated their years of birth by 1 year and they should actually be January 1889 and December 1890, as I believe these are the birth registrations for her and her brother Ernest, both with mother's maiden name Littlejohns:
