Are there really two men named Hopestill Foster (b. 1645 and 1648)?

Question

There are two different profiles with the name Hopestill Foster born in the 1640s, Massachusetts, with different parents listed: Foster-3570 and Foster-2330.    

However, both are shown being married in 1670 (August and October) at the same town (Woburn) to an Elizabeth Whittemore or Elizabeth (Pierce) Whittemore.  

Something is very wrong here or it is an incredible coincidence.

Hopestill, son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Unknown) Foster, born 1648, married Elizabeth Pierce, widow of Thomas Whittemore in Woburn 1670.

Hopestill, son of Hopestill and Mary (Bates) Foster, married Elizabeth Payson in Dorchester 1666.

Different men with different wives and parents.

There is some serious disentangling, and several merges, that needs to occur on these profiles and related profiles.

I notice that -3570 used to be called Humphrey until a 2014 edit.

Findmypast has more marriages for Hopestill, one 1705, the other 1724, so is it possible a nephew or cousin?

It is looking like there were two different men named Hopestill Foster (born 1645 and 1648).  However, I doubt that Hopestill (b. 1645) had a second wife Elizabeth Whittemore.  Probably a confusion with the marriage of Hopestill (b. 1648) to Elizabeth (Pierce) Whittemore in 1670.
