The death of Pierre Cadrin/Cadran

Hail!

Last night, I helped someone merge a whole bunch of Cadran profiles. Today, he asked me about the death of Pierre Cadrin and was pretty sure it was inaccurate. He said that he died in 1786 and that his source was a tree he has. I told him that this site runs on concrete sources and that I would ask everyone in g2g about Pierre.

With that said, what information do we have on the death of Pierre Cadrin? Other than what's on the page already. I'm open to change the death date. I just need proof in order to do so. Hope you guys can help me out!

Thanks in advance!

So we can say he died some time in 1786.

actually, the Ancestry tree is citing Tanguay, vol 2 pg 520, http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/dicoGenealogie/  he is the one who gives this date.  Nowhere else do I find confirmation of it, no funeral record for him found.  What I can say for sure is that he was alive when his daughter Marie Marguerite got married in Feb 1772, or at least not listed as deceased, he's not cited present.

Huh. Don't you hate it when people don't want to be found? Wow.
