Looking for mother and father of Barker Butler born 1808 Ohio

The first spouse is Lavina Maxwell married Green, Ohio; Death IL 1847

Daughter Arselia Butler born Akron, IL 1839;  Married Christopher Johnson 1858 IL

The second spouse is Margaret King married in Will, IL 1854

I'm Josef Moorehead born IN and Baker Butler is my 3rd GG on my father's line.

Hi Josef. It appears a lot of researchers have been looking online for his origins but without success as I don't even find conjecture at places like Family Search. I would suggest that you contact the most logical place he may have been born Greene County, Ohio. I also think the border between Clinton and Greene counties changed a time or two. Unfortunately, I am not finding the name and contact person there who did a little research for me but I think contacting some of these people may steer you in the right direction:

In searching some period books on Greene County (there are several), I found only one mention of him and it is in relation to the Maxwell family. You probably already have this but you can find it here:
