Can I just ask if anyone from the Kiwi crew was affected by the attack in Hagley park in Christchurch?

Darren and Campbell, Are you and your families OK? I think you guys live in Christchurch.

Campbell and Graeme. Thanks for managing the team for this thon.

Was in Cathedral Square and was lucky to get out of the bus exchange before it locked down and was able to get my kids out of school. School was close to where one of the people was arrested with Bombs in the Cars. Spent most of yesterday uncontrollable crying even though I probably don't know anyone that was injured or killed.
I live 3 hours away from Christchurch, however, I am really shocked that this has happened, Darren, glad you and your family are safe
So glad you are ok, Darren. While I’m no longer in Canterbury, I know Christchurch Hospital and environs well. I totally understand your grief And shock. I’ve been tearful all morning.

New to Wikitree and genealogy generally, and helping seems a good way for me to learn, so sign me up.  I'm in Lower Hutt, and my wife's family is based in New Zealand for a minimum of 2 generations.

I have just posted on the main registration page.

Thanks Martin, Welcome to WikiTree and the KiwiCrew, have a read what Clean-a-thon is all about and here is a tutorial.

Hi Martin, Have you registered on this G2G post, I can't seem to find your name. LINK HERE   Write this: "Count me in for The KiwiCrew" to receive the badge.

I thought I had done that but I can't see the post either. Must have hit 'cancel' rather than 'add comment'. That will be inspiring for the people I'll be helping with the clean-up - Yeah, Nah!

Signed up now.

Hi Campbell and others. Firstly, my thoughts go out to the people of Christchurch for the sad happenings on Friday. Having done "source-a-thon's" previously, this will be my first Clean-a-thon. I look forward to "fixing", with the rest of KiwiCrew.

Well just to make my WikiTree life difficult my none Wikitree life has come along an stuffed up my plans for this weekend in that I will be travelling & working away from home this weekend - in fact staying in an area that doesn't even have cell coverage - so my contribution to the team's count for this clean-a-thon will be limited, if not very very limited to what I can get done on my return (Sunday nightish if I can stay awake :-) )

Anyway Go Kiwicrew! and have a great Weekend

PS - I'm off on Wednesday night (NZ time) so if anyone has any questions before then don't hesitate to ask

these things happen, have a great ANZAC day and weekend
Well I have managed to create a link and keep it running off and on untill now for the last few hrs at least - but this will be the end of my contributions for now, ( I might be able to fire it back up if I get some down time ) , untill Sunday night - see you all on the flip side

Go Kiwi Crew

About 4 1/2 hours to go. Wishing your team all the best in the mad scramble for the next 72 hours. Just remember to have fun while we help make WikiTree better.I know Nor'Easters will be really busy.

Hello, sorry I didn't realise I should post here too. I am about to start working on Cleanathon. I signed up just before registration closed. I'm in New Plymouth, have done a couple other events. Yay cleaning!

the Clean-a-Thon Tracker is broken, might go for another break, hope it's running again in 20 minutes

by Campbell Braddock G2G6 Mach 8 (81.8k points)
I just logged in and couldn't get it to work. Thought I was going mad!
Me again! Campbell, when I correct an error, the Clean-a-thon doesn't come up as a choice in the Challenges tracker. I'm correcting categories from my own Suggestions report. It should still be there though, shouldn't it?
i'm just using the Suggestions report and it seems to be counting these.
I've gone back and re-read all the instructions but though I've made changes and changed the status on about 20, nothing seems to be registering on the scores except for the first three I did. I'm a bit mystified??? Any thought???

Update: I’ve just had another look and it seems to be added now - phew!
