This is concerning myGreat Great Maternal Grandmother.  The issue arises with her parents To easier see here is the link  https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LBH6-V48. On Wiki she is Lumley-721

Nellie is listed twice under her parents  one is married to a Gossett and the other to a hughes. Both ae close in Age  Census records show both married in seperatehouseholds.  Someone is wrong.

I am running in circles trying to find a birth record or anything to straighten this out.  The tree was handed to me from my maternal Aunts and had no sources. The tree was built from the recllections of my Maternal Grandmother.

Are you sure?  I have come across a number of "odd" marriages, and quite often it is because the first spouse died and the surviving spouse remarried rather quickly (usually due to children).  I always check for a spousal death.
Positive both Nellies show up in the same census records for the same Time Period.  For now I am severing the link and calingher family a brickwall.
Could one of them be Helen, or Eleanor/Elinor/Elinore?  (Sorry, can't see the link, as it's family search.)

You are having trouble finding your Nellie because she was actually named "Thomas Nellie Lumley" and both Ancestry and Family Search have indexed her badly. She was married in Missouri in 1917. Her marriage record is on Ancestry, but I couldn't find it on FamilySearch.  Ancestry has her last name indexed as "Lundey."

Thomas Nellie Lundey
Marriage Date:3 Feb 1917
Marriage Place:Tyler, Pemiscot, Missouri, USA
Spouse:James A Gessett

Here is the info on her family in the 1910 census.  She was listed as "Tommie" on that census.  The transcriber listed her as "Formir" which is why you can't find her.

Household            Role      Sex         Age   Birthplace
William D Lumley Head      Male      53    Tennessee
Ella L Lumley       Wife      Female    48    Missouri
William R Lumley Son       Male       25    Tennessee
Ivy G Lumley        Daughter  Female  23    Tennessee
Formir[Tommie] E Lumley

Mary Lumley        Daughter  Female  10    Tennessee
Alma A Lumley    Daughter  Female   3    Tennessee

LOL I would go by Nellie as well.  This ties in perfectly Since Lee Smith and ALma Smith are Listed as James Brother and Sister in Law in the 1930Census.
Awesome thank you so much for the help.  Trying to recall how to post you as a wonderful Wikitreer.  Sometimes suffering from OCD and ADHD can be such a curse.

Are you sure you have the right parents? . Here’s the link to the death certh for Nellie Hughes https://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1963/1963_00042747.PDF

Thanks this was what alerted me to the problem.  I guess for now I will break that tie on Family search and call it a brickwall.  Even though my aunts say GrandmaLucy (Stone) Lumley.

It looks like you have your Nellie attached to the wrong parents.  The couple married in Missouri.  Their "younger" daughter Nellie was born in Missouri.  Why would the couple return to Tennessee to give birth to the older Nellie?  The usual migration pattern is westward.  I think you need to be looking for other parents.  Do you have a marriage record for her?

Rgisis all I have this I know is fact as my Grandmother is Jewell and My Great Aunt Ruth lived in Denver during my Childhood.  My mother had spoke alotabout her uncle John wayne.  Trying to locate marriage record but have had no luck due to limited resources.

Was looking closer at the 1930Census record.  Her Husband James had a Lee Smith and Alma Smith there listed as brother and Sister in Law.  from Tennessee.  I show two potentials but not much info Lee Smith and A D Smith

So Nellie could possibly be a smith or the other.

That's the other Nellie.
For your Nellie - Is Lumley her LNAB? Or had she been married before ?
This is the other Nellie Lumley.  As Kattie Forbes showed Nellie First Name is  Thomas her younger sister Alma shows up in the 1930 Census with her Husband Lee as Smith listed as Brother and Sister in Law to James Gossett.
