Where did Claude White live? Seems that our ancestor couldn't have spent his early life in America and then Zoomed to Australia. Changing names and having additional wives must be a White thing as here in New Zealand last year I was contacted by a White whose dad had 5 children then disapeared and they discovered later he had gone over the mountain range remarried and altered his surname to Whyte seems that even though you had to allow the registrar three weeks to check they didn't do much checking anyway.
