I have been told that Devil Anse was my great-great uncle and have been trying to research this and can find no answers.  My father is Emmett Hatfield, and Emmetts father was Sid (or Sydney) Hatfield, and his motrher was Tildie, all from Mingo County, West Virginia.  My mother was Margie Shephard Hatfield ( who was actually a Hatfield, whose fathers name is not known). Emmett was born in Browning Fork near Gilbert WV,  Margie was born in Gilbert Creek near Gilbert, WV. Emmetts brothers and sisters was  John, Jim, Frank, Bruce, Laurie, Maggie, and Louise ( to my knowledge)  And that is all I have. Can someone help me?  Thanks!
