Advice before editing this pre-1700 Corwin profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Henry Corwin. This is what I can add:

  • 1.       Ahnentafel of Matthias Curwen--- 1st Generation ---1. Matthias1 Curwen. Name variation: Matthias Corwin.1 He was born between 1596 and 1598 at Cumberlandshire, England, (Ruth Brunton file has place as Warwickshire, other sources have Northamptonshire).2,3 He married Margaret Shatswell, daughter of Robert Morton and Agnes Webster, circa 4 Feb 1628. He died on 12 Sep 1658 at Southold, Suffolk County, NY. He died on 12 Sep 1658 at Southold, Suffolk County, NY. Mathias was living in Ipswich, MA 1634 where he received a land grant under the name of Currin. He joined John Young's group settling Southold in 1641. He was living in Suffolk Co., NY in 1640. Matthias is reputedly descended from M. Valerius Corvus, 371 BC), one of the most illustrious men in the early Roman Empire.4---

    2.        2nd Generation ---2. John2 Curwen married Majory in 1595 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.2 He left a will on 14 May 1631. It was probated 15 Jun 1631.5 He died on 1 Jun 1631.53. Majory2. She was born circa 1576 at Northamptonshire, England.2 She married John Curwen, son of Henry Curwen, in 1595 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.2---

    3.       3rd Generation ---4. Henry3 Curwen was of Sybertoft. He died in 1592. ---

    4.       4th Generation ---8. Thomas4 Curwen lived at Sybertoft, Northamptonshire, England.5 He left a will on 19 May 1557.5 He died before Jul 1557.5---

    5.       5th Generation ---16. Rev. Thomas5 Curwen6,7 was born in 1506. He died in 1537. Thomas was from Lowick.

    6.       6th Generation ---32. William6 Curwen married Margaret Curwen, daughter of Christopher Curwen and Anne Pennington. William was from Camerton (Source: printout at 1994 Mapes Reunion; OCGS 4: 12, 1974). 33. Margaret6 Curwen was born in 1485. She married William Curwen, son of Thomas Curwen. ---

Hi Robert, as this is pre-1700, sources need to fit much stricter parameters. The family tree records,in themselves, are not sources, they might cite some records which are usable. Or they might just give clues.

The more info you can give , the better.
