Trying to find Charles St. Michael and Sophie Collen, Canada and Clinton County NY early 19th Cent.

Question

This couple, both probably born in Canada, lived in Clinton County in early 1800s. They had a child, Sophie St. Michael born in Peru, NY about 1817.

Can't seem to find any more mention of them other than their child's death card. I have a hunch they were involved in St. Joeseph's parish in Dannemora NY. There is a real lack of documentation online for this couple. Would like to know more about them. Thanks if anyone has information!
