This couple, both probably born in Canada, lived in Clinton County in early 1800s. They had a child, Sophie St. Michael born in Peru, NY about 1817.

Can't seem to find any more mention of them other than their child's death card. I have a hunch they were involved in St. Joeseph's parish in Dannemora NY. There is a real lack of documentation online for this couple. Would like to know more about them. Thanks if anyone has information!

I'd start here:

Dr. Anastasia Pratt, County Historian
Clinton County Government Center
137 Margaret Street, Suite 105
Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Office Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:00 - 5:00 PM
Tuesday, Thursday by special appointment
Phone #:  518-565-4749
Fax #:  518-565-4616
E-mail: Historian@clintoncountygov.com

Most of the upstate county historians have a form and suggested method of contact. Didn't see that immediately but the web page is here: https://www.clintoncountygov.com/Departments/Historian/HistorianHomePage.html
