Error Uploading Photos

I'm uploading photos that we scanned from old photo albums. I keep getting an error that says "Sorry, this image cannot be processed. It may be too large or complex. Please contact us for help."

The photos are all JPG, under 10MB and I've even reduced them to under 1MB. Some of the photos have no problem getting uploaded but several are not working.

Suggestions are appreciated.

I have had the same problem with several of my photos and when looking at the ones I have had the hardest time with, they are usually photos that I scanned a number of years ago.

What I have found is if I resave them with a current photo program, they usually go right through. I'm wondering if the jpg version they were saved with is not as recognized as it used to be.

I don't know for certain about size limits on photos, but I don't imagine any photo needs to be over 1 meg to display well. I'll look into this and see if perhaps the size is the issue. Otherwise, you might take the other answer's advice and maybe re-save the .jpg.  We'll get back to you if there's a better answer! Thanks. ~tami
