Looking for information on Guy Leonard Ross

Question

I am attempting to trace my paternal family line but cannot find any information on my Great-grandfather other than his name is Guy Leonard Ross who was born in 1895 in Oregon. He lived with his uncle, Daniel Moore Ross, according to the 1900 census. He later married Louise Marie Kuipers in Idaho. I am looking for any information regarding who his parents possibly are as I have hit a wall.

Per his WWI Draft Registration Guy Leonard Ross was born 30 Jan 1895 at Alsea, Oregon.

Leonard G. Ross age 15 in the 1910 US Census, was living with his uncle, Alexander F Ross age 30 (born in Colorado,) at Five Rivers, Lincoln, Oregon. Alexander F Ross's father was born in the United States and his mother was born in Kansas.

Thanks, Frank! I have been able to find that information. Wanting to find Guy's mother and father. Contacted the state of Oregon for birth records but they were not required prior to 1903.

That side of the family is quite convoluted and not much is known. I believe I have the most information so far amongst the family. Did Ancestry DNA and no new leads from that either.

I think I can help. Have you checked on Alexander and DAniel's siblings. Guy's father must be one of the male's in the family to maintain the Ross last name. Brothers to Alexander and Daniel - William P, John W, Gerard/Girard could be some help.  I'm a Phillips w/Daniel Moore Ross in my lineage.
