Hi William,

Ancestry has large stickers on its files saying the tree is incorrect..

I have found a paper taken from the family bible  but for some reason I cannot paste it  here. If you reply to my gmail account I will endeavour to send what I have to you.  In the meantime look up KRUFF  6-3-53 Va Gaz. Andrew Kruff Jr (Andrew Grubb) purchased 1st land in Goochland Co. Va. 1754 and died in that county in 1780 leaving will naming wife, Susana Grubbs, dau. Anna Bifley & son Daniel (d.1800, Goochland) who m.- Mary Hodges, (who d.1809 in Goochland) in Goochland 5-6-1757 from family bible dating back to 1744.  According to Will 194 Goochland Co. Va & Dutch family Bible Daniel & Mary had :Sobriana; Mary; Franke; Martha; Andrew; Anna; Thacker; Mepha Chaetton; Sarah Prophet; Susannah; Jesse b. 1-24-1781; m.- in Goochland, 5-1-1758, Mary(Newman) Younger);  John and Edward. Mary's will names dau. Sibellow Grubb as her will made later than Jesse.& Mary.

According to  Bible Jesse & Mary (Newman) (Younger) Grubb had : Jacob, b. 1781; Dabney b. 1783; Elijah b.1786 (m. here the column finishes and one has to go to another page  Saunders of Bedford Co. Va,. Callen, b. 1788; David Hodges, 1790-1844 (m. 7-4-1821, Sarah Keen, 1797-1838); Andrew Walker; Rittie (or Writtis), b.1795 (m. .....Settle, descs. in N.C.);  Jesse I., B.1797 (m. Minty C Newton &  there family has family Bible of Andreas Krupp also the furniture, wooden comb etc.   Polly b. 1800; Brinthe, b.1802 (m. John Nuckols). Is this Anddrew a desc of Peter Grubb (Dutch name VanKrupps) who came from Amsterdam, Holland to settle near Jamestown, Va. and had gr sons Edward, Higgason,  Andrew and John?
