I see what you mean giving birth over 60 is some feat! Becoming a father in your 70’s could be possible, but not probable especially with the mother that is attached Maybe you could leave a comment on the profile about your info, or send a private message to the PM

Hi, Marion,

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the private profile attached as a father to the linked profile.
Exactly Deb, father born 1618, mother 1628, profile has birth date of 1682.

Read it in the bio
LOL He just added the parents. When he posted this the father was a living profile and there was no mother.
You are correct though. Three possibilities here.

1. His date of birth is off by a decade or two too late.

2. The mother's birthdate is off by a decade or two too early.

3. This is the wrong mother and Dad had a second wife.
Sorry Marion, you have got this one wrong although what you are saying is correct. Deb has the problem correctly.

For some unknown reason the "living profile" has been removed and I was able to add a father .

I think the best you can do in this instance is contact the manager of this profile and ask that the father's profile be opened, as it should be. If that isn't fruitful (she hasn't been active for a couple of years), contact info @ wikitree.com (without the spaces, of course) for help.

In the future, just select the Open Profile Request from drop-down under the Profile ID at the top and send that.  Profile will be opened fairly quickly.
