Advice before editing this pre-1700 Roll profile?

The profile Roll-596 appears to be the same person as Roll-34 with some errors in for instance parentage since these are pre 1700 project I am being extra careful and requesting feedback. My initial impression is that they should be merged. Please advise what steps you would like me to take on them thanks.

They are set as an unmerged match, you would need to remove that and then propose a merge. I would also add New Netherlands to the tags on this question (you can do it by editing your original message)

Further to Marion's comment, the form you filled out is intended to help people discover what pre-1700 project they should be working with.

When that's not your purpose, it's preferable to start your question using the "ASK QUESTION" button under the "Collaboration" heading in the right-hand column of the person's profile.
got it will do going forward thanks!

The intention of the pre-1700 popup when finished editing 1600s profiles, should be made explicit and clear. Evidently, I'm not the only one who was confused by the message. The wording should be changed to include "to help you determine the pre-1700 project with which you need to coordinate" or something like that. The message needs to be clear that you don't need a specific permission for each pre-1700 edit.

In fact, an explanation of this could be included in the pre-1700 training. It needs to be sufficiently detailed so we know what do do and what not to do.

I was planning to merge these earlier today, but I got distracted by something or other in my "real life." I'll go do it now.
