I have reliable data on persons on both sides of a missing person as church records are missing on the person inbetween

Depending upon the time frame and location - you sometimes can find census data that confirms a relationship if the church or other records aren't available.

But if we're talking a very long time ago - that would be unlikely source.

Hi Donald,

Are you asking how you enter the people on WikiTree if you know a grandparent and grandchild, but the child/parent in between?

You would just write "Unknown" and "Unknown" for person's first and/or last names.
