Ancestors William Burke Hickman, b Burbon County, KY, wife Elizabeth A Witherspoon, b ~1800, KY?

Greetings --

This my first post, and I wonder if anyone might have some clues....

The Hickman side of the family tree seems to go cold with William Burke Hickman, who moved from KY to the area around Hillsboro, IL.  He was my great-great grandfather, born 1803.  He and his wife, Elizabeth Witherspoon, had several children, including my great grandfather, Walker Franklin Hickman.

Lana,

That is consistent (completely) with what I know as well on  William Burke Hickman.  I believe that his grave is located in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, Illinois.  It can be found in the digital records maintained by the Montgomery County Historical Society.

I will be visiting Hillsboro in early July, and will see if I can locate the grave (I have a good idea of its precise location in Oak Grove Cemetery).
