Advice before editing this pre-1700 Hogg profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of George Hogg Sr.. This is what I can add:

  • marriage to second wife

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Just to let you know family trees are NOT considered good sources. If they cite verifiable sources find them and use.

I am not familiar with Quaker records, but I suggest that you include as much info in the bio as possible.

Thank you for your response.  The family trees were sourced by other people.  No one had written a biography, so I took on the job.  I didn't want to cross anyone by removing the trees, but I noticed in reading other questions and answers that they could be moved into notes.  The Quaker record was from Ancestry.com's indexed records, in hints.
