I have information to contribute to the profile of Mary (Peirce) Fellows. This is what I can add:

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

In general, feel free to update pre-1700 profiles that need proper sourcing and more information. First, read what’s already on the page.  Ask yourself: Does what I'm adding add value to the profile? Always, always source your updates/changes/facts/statements, preferably with primary sources, and using inline citations. Before you make major changes (changes in relationships, or vital statistics) make sure you attempt to contact the profile managers and/or the Project. It's always polite to contact managers if you're going to do a major overhaul.

You haven't listed any sources, so I'll just say watch out for Cutter books and indexes like Yates Publ, Millenium Files, unsourced gedcoms and Findagrave withour images of the actual stone. If that's where your information comes from you want to verify it with better sources.

This query was posted 4 years ago, and it still shows up on the profile page for Mary Peirce-210.

Rather than open a new message, I will state here that I plan to detach/remove [[Peirce-210|Mary (Peirce) Fellows (1692-1774)]] as a) the daughter of Thomas Pierce IV, b) the wife of Ephraim Fellows Jr., and c) the mother of Ephraim’s children.

I will take these actions about a week from now unless a record is posted in the Sources section of her profile that establishes Peirce or Pierce as Mary’s last name at birth.
