I haven’t made a profile for him yet but suspect that he is the father of John Moore Huff, also of Milton. If he is, his wife’s maiden name would be Armstrong and she would be the the daughter of William Armstrong and Margaret Couples (Cupples?). The only information I have on them is from The Annals of Buffalo valley where it is stated that John Moore Huff was their grandson. Margaret’s father was David Couples who was scalped and killed in 1780. His widow remarried a man named Elliott. Any help filling in the blanks would much appreciated!
Note: there are 2 profiles for John Moore Huff that have not yet been merged. The other is Huff-3906

This shows that Lawrence Huff was between 25 and 44 in 1820

Assuming that Lawrence had three sons under the age of ten, that would make him in the thirty year old range. So I would guess his birth date around 1790?

This shows Lawrence Hoff. Parents Lawrence Hoff and Catherine Shurry.

Thank you! That seems to be a VERY good lead! Many of that side of the family were part of the Reformed Church. Wish I could view the actual record but I’m not a member of Ancestory.com. :(

I found a John Moore Huff as father in the marriage certificate of Henry E Huff and Elizabeth Armstrong Etzler (FamSearch index entry "New York, New York City Marriage Records, 1829-1940," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2477-945 : 10 February 2018), John Moore Huff in entry for Henry E. Huff and Elizabeth Armstrong Etzler, 29 Mar 1919; citing Marriage, Manhattan, New York, New York, United States, New York City Municipal Archives, New York; FHL microfilm 1,643,256.

In the 1860 Census entry there are tons of children listed. Is it because of the not yet initiated merge that they aren't still listed on his profile?

Yes, that is a strong indicator of the Huff/Armstrong link.
