The cemetery was established in 1948.  That's what's causing the error.  Check with the cemeteries project to see if the date is accurate or if it's possible it's a memorial and not a grave.

But it’s for those who died during World War II in the Philippines.  Everyone buried there would have died before 1948.

It does say "Used for those deceased 1941–1945", so perhaps his body was first elsewhere and reburied after that cemetery was established.  Or perhaps he wasn't found until after 1948.  Or perhaps, as you say, it's a memorial because he was never found.  It also says for "personnel whose remains are interred or represented".

Alternate possibility is that his body was moved from a temporary burial location to this cemetery after its creation.

The cemetery was probably created as one of the final resting places for military personnel killed in WWII, so many of those buried would had died before the cemetery's actual creation.

The cemetery date has been edited to cover the period of WWII so these wont continue to show as errors.  It is both a burial and memorial site   the website states most of the people listed are missing in action.

I see you've got it worked out, but seems to me it also could have been marked "False Suggestion." Meaning the "error" is wrong, not the profile.
