would it be possible to require at least a country to be visible on all private profiles?

Hi, i have over 1000 people on my watchlist and i find it frustrating that there are so many possible matches which are private and require messages before i can exclude them as a match.  I don't see that something as vague as a country would imperil anyone's privacy.  does anyone out there agree with me?  thanks.

I agree.  It's especially annoying when you know the profile is of a person that is long ago deceased and the privacy is on red

I agree too - it would save a lot of time.... assuming that the country is correct that iswink

I'm only new to Wikitrees, but that would have been my first question also. I should think it is a logical expectation on any family history tree to show the country of birth and also of their death. My tree has a country named for every leaf on the tree. It arrives here on the gedcom but is discarded. Could it be included please
