How do we get new stickers?

How do we request new roots stickers? I need a "Greek Roots Sticker".

You ask for the sticker here in G2G. If there is enough interest it can be made. However, something like a Greek Roots Sticker should probably be used in conjunction with a project. Is there a Greek Roots Project?

What I did is put the migrating ancestor sticker on my great grandfather who emigrated from Palermo, Sicily to New York. I then created a descendant of Salvatore Selvaggio sticker with my own graphic. I've stuck that bad boy on all of his descendants. You can see them on their profiles:

There's a pretty standard format now for Roots Stickers -- see the collection at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Roots_Stickers . We don't need to have a project to start using a sticker, but Chris Ferraiolo is trying to get one off the ground -- see https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/794440/the-greek-roots-project-needs-you

So to propose a new Greek Roots sticker, Alicia should (1) identify an electronic image of the Greek flag to use on the sticker and (2) start a G2G discussion about the "Proposal for Greek Roots sticker" and ask other people to register their interest in the sticker. Not only will it get you a sticker, but it will help identify other folks who are working on Greek ancestry here!

I didn't know we could create our own sticker!  Is there a link on how to do that?  

There is an app that will make sure you have a roots sticker on all the descendants of a person, but it only works for Germany, Ireland, England, and one other country, I think. I would love it to work with any nationality like Italian or Greek so I don't have to find them all manually .

Only leaders can create new stickers. There are some stickers, such as migrating ancestor, that can be customized for use on any profile.

For Greek Roots, i think it would be a good idea to create a sticker -- as a step toward a Greek Roots project.
