I found a link to a genealogical doctoral thesis on the following subject that might interest the  Nobility of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The full title of the thesis is "Genealogical Identity among the Nobility of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and its expression in the heraldry of the 16th-18th centuries"

Fascinating way to present genealogy in an academic context however I am bowled over by the complete absence of any footnotes or source references beyond what the author has written herself.
