Sara Sallie Abney born around 1762 looking for her mother's name

Question

Sarah Sally Abney married James Spearman and had several children including Phoebe Spearman -  I'm looking for any leads as to Sarah's extended family, her mother and father's name - searching my maternal lineage thank you ...She was born around 1762, 67 or so   thank you for any info you might have. I'm not sure where she was born. Once source says Spearman and Sarah wed in France.

Geographic location, so far, says that the couple might have married in France. Would you have any location for birth or death such as a specific country, state or province, county and or city?

Would you have a birth year for James and or a marriage year for James and Sarah, or death years?

I found they lived in South Carolina and were married around 1790's in Mayenne France Place de Loire I have contacted the district there and they can find no info on the marriage with the details I provided. I thank you for any information; I have James Spearman born around 1764 in Virginia I think but not sure.

Thank you - I have an extended family link with Sehoy Marchand - ties look towards France -  have found Albini, Abner, D'Aubigne, Aubigney, Abney and so on so not sure If Abney really means Abney in this case...

Found several Sarah Abneys but they don't match marriage or children born information of the Sara (sally) I'm searching, thank you

What evidence guided the comment that they married in France? Not likely that a SC maiden would be in France. Is everyone sure she was an Abney...... maybe this is a 2nd marriage and her 1st was an Abney.

A few years ago I found a source that said Sarah Abney and Sarah D'Aubigne were the same person - as if she changed her name once in SC  ...This Sarah Aubigne landed in S.C. port - I thought it was a little far fetched since I met a dead end on that so didn't pay too much attention to it at the time - and went on searching Abney - only to find another source saying James Spearman (this being his second marriage to Sarah) and Sarah departed S.C.and married in Mayenne France -  the source though did not provide links - At that point I thought well she /her line may have been from France. She was Spearman's 2nd wife and if she was born in 69 she would have been around 20 when she married Spearman. Still unable to find info on her parents...Thank you for your comment, any ideas you have or comments always helpful..
