I wanted to share this family photo of 52 Photos Week 16 Friendship with the community. Location: Portales, Roosevelt, New Mexico. Date: 1920.

Hi M, What a lovely photo of three girls playing with their dolls out in the farmyard, It brings back some memories for me of us as children growing up on the farm. A wonderful treasure indeed. Thank you for sharing with us.

It is always so striking for me how many lovely 1920's photographs there are.  Everyone is happy, smiling, dressed so smartly.  The photos a decade later aren't always so sunny, the girls playing with their dollies, the farm house and windmill in the background.  You could spend a 1/2 hour trying to pick out all the details.
