Why don't I have an 'error report' option?

This page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Spring_Clean-a-Thon_Tutorial shows an error report in the dropdown (the first large red arrow) but I don't have one.  Do I have to sign up for a Clean-A-Thon or something? Or is it a normal feature?

And as soon as I hit 'ask question' it gives me an answer...I think....is it now called Suggestions?
I believe errors are now called "suggestions", except when they're on one of the DBE report lists .. otherwise that'd be called a DBS list.
And if your profile is too Private, you won't have Suggestions either.

But there's another Suggestions on the My WikiTree menu.  Most people seem to focus on this one, which covers your Watchlist.

RJ, It is for managed profiles, to be precise. Watch list can be checked on only on WikiTree+ directly with the use of apps server.

Hi, Kylie -

It appears that the Clean-A-Thon  [CAT] is reusing older instructions from 2018; there have been very recent changes for the reports, now Suggestion Reports and individual profile suggestions appear on their respective Suggestion status page.

Also, the instructions on that page are images and not actual links to the report.

For everyone's information, the DBE pages are being revised and will all be Suggestion Help Pages.  DBE is being replaced with Suggestion so DBE and Suggestion descriptions and links are the same while the transition is in process.  We are working on changing all tagging in G2G to reflect the changes, so the db_error or DBE 211 will be changed to suggestion and Suggestion_211 for examples.

And to answer your first question, the main report is hereSpace:Data_Doctors_Report_2019-04-21

Also new on the Suggestion Reports on the report linked above, if you see this symbol by the Suggestion name - there is a video tutorial explaining what to do for that suggestion:

That image is a direct link to the video where available.

You might want to check out the other videos regarding individual suggestions and topics related at: Space:Data_Doctors_Project_Video_Collection

Suggestions are worked on by all WikiTree members not just Data Doctors so this might be helpful information before CAT starts.

Spoiler Alert:  There is a binge-watching option on the Video Collection page.

We will make sure to alert the Challenges Committee in charge of Clean-A-Thon to update the instructions although that will be after this CAT.

Thank you for your question and hope this helps.  Good Luck with CAT, everyone!

I want to congratulate you all on the great youtube tutorials you've created; I've only watched a few, but they're great!!
Many thanks, Jillaine.  Credit for videos goes to Karen Hoy; I am preproduction critic and in charge of "marketing".

We have another 4 currently in development and hope to release next week.

Watch for announcements on Fridays for releases of the week.  There are delays for CAT, and will keep everyone posted.
Thank you for the star, Joyce!  Have fun in CAT 2019!
