Special Public Service Announcement:

This message is brought to you by and is the opinion of the author usually working extended hours.

Here are some healthy tips for you as you prepare and participate in the "marathon" this weekend.

Please try to:

  • Stay well hydrated with water preferably, or a beverage of choice avoiding sugary soft drinks.
  • Eat smaller meals or snack frequently - nuts, protein, and cheese are great choices, and yes - don't forget the popcorn!
  • Take frequent breaks, at least 5 minutes every hour. Get up, stretch, move around, etc.
  • This is a list of handy reminder tools that can help keep you on track or find one of your own.
  • If you see you are fatigued and starting to make lots of typos, rest/sleep until you feel refreshed and ready to work again.

Have fun this weekend!

Stretching.  You forgot to mention stretching before running the CAT distance.  It will help to avoid muscle cramps.

Make sure your mouse has new batteries, too.  Nothing worse than a dead, stinky mouse.

Excellent comments straight from the creator of all these amazing videos!  Thank you for making a cameo appearance.
Significant other with a whip could increase production. It may however increase mistakes too. Tough trade-off. Maybe shoulder massages in between breaks?

Also, you may want to time your bathroom breaks to coincide with your breaks from the computer. Nothing like just getting back into the rhythm and having nature call. If you use the spreadsheet chat, I use 2 windows that are 3/4 screen size overlapped and put the spreadsheet on the right. This way the chat is visible while I am working in the other window.

Everybody have fun, and stay safe out there.
Make sure to stop once in a while to say, “Hi” to your significant other. (My wife already thinks I’m cheating on her with some woman named WikiTree!)
That's funny, Pip.
So Pip, introduce her to Eddy Bot!
@Marion: No! My wife calls herself a WikiTree Widow. I don’t need to add that I’ve got another one in the side, Eddy Bot. (When I saw this I was glad I wasn’t drinking something. Would have ruined a good iPad!)

I've seen expensive iPads, crappy iPads, broken iPads, even possessed iPads. But I've yet to see a GOOD iPad yet. Send pics. LOL cheeky
