There are a number of Katie Wilson's who lived in South Carolina  One was living with the Ransom and Patsy Harris family. This Katie was 103 yrs old, Ransom was 44 and Patsy was 38 in the 1910 US Census, Pleasant Hill, Lancaster, SC.

Another Katie Wilson was stepmother at age 108 yrs old living with Alfred 62 yrs old and Laura 50 yrs old White and their daughter, Bessie.11 yrs old. At Gills Creek, Lancaster, South Carolina.

Do you have more information on Katie Wilson, such as birth year, marriage year or her connection to Helen?

Helen Marr Stone died 25 Nov 1936 at Bells, Grayson, Texas. She was widowed and her birth was on 3 May 1844 in South Carolina. Father's last name is Hadley.

Samuel P Stone is 60 born TN, Helen Stone, wife is 56. born SC. son is Jasper Stone 26 born Missouri. Helen Stone's father born PA and mother born SC.

Thank you all - I have all the family information of Helen and Samuel.  The mystery is Helen's parents.  Her death certificate stated father as "Hadly?".  I had found the census with the Wilson's and an Ellen Hadley and that excited me because family thought her mom was Katie Wilson.  I am getting dna matches right and left with the Michael Handley and Katherine Wilson marriage - they might be Helen's parents, however a picture of Samuel and Helen stated on the back that her name as Helen Marr.  We did not know if that meant Samuel and Helen (short for marriage) or a maiden name or a first marriage name or what.  I am also getting many dna matches for the Rowan family and a census shows Michael and Katherine with an Jane E (maybe Ellen?) of the right age.  So if Samuel E Rowan and Katherine "Katie" Handley Rowan are Helen's (Ellen) parents - who are Samuel E Rowan's parents?  Katie's Mom shows as Elizabeth Wilson and I am getting dna matches with the Wilson family as well.  I may be off track and Katherine may be a Wilson and not a Handley.  She was born in the 1818-1822 time bracket.  At one time I had found a picture on line of a Katherine Wilson born 1822 and she looked like family members.  Anyone have more details on the Handley/Rowan/Wilson family's of SC and Tennessee?

I also found on the 1930 census in Grayson Co, Tx, she is with daughter Lula Stone Ownby and family and her first marriage is listed as age 16 which would be 1860/61.  She married Samuel P Stone in 1865 in Henry Co, Tenn.  Therefore Marr may be her first married name, or Hadley/Handley?  She was listed as Ellen Hadley on 1860 census in Fulton County Ky with three Wilson boys.  Family has her birth date recorded as May 3, 1844.  Steven Lee Stone has dna matches through Katherine Wilson Handley born 1822 ish.

I don't think that there is a profile number for Helen Hadley born 1844 in SC or for her with her married name, Helen Stone.
