Patrick Joyce and Mary Flynn Joyce have at least two daughters- Mary Joyce in 1887 and Delia in 1888. Delia Joyce Byrne3078 is my grandmother.  Mary Flynn Joyce3591's parents are Patrick Flynn3592 and Bridget Shaughnessy521. I'm able to find Bridget and Pat's marriage notice and birth of their seven children but nothing on Pat and Mary Flynn Joyce's family other than two daughters above.  There are two 1888 births of a Delia in Clifton and Ballinrobe.  Delia's US marriage is recorded in Roscommon on husband's Baptism record and she is supposedly from Leitrim, Galway(her baptism??).

Hi

My mother was a flynn by birth..

Her Flynn ancestors were also from Galway..

My 3rd X Great-Grandparents were Daneil Flynn born abt 1819 Galway Eire( Shoe maker by trade)

He married a Mary? ( Unknown Maiden name so thats where we hit a brick wall unable to find marriage Or Birth records of daneil flynn & mary & Children..

What we do know is that mary flynn fled the irish famine before 1860 & earlist Census we found was in Birmingham England of 1861

Mary flynn was recorded as widowed with Childten

Patrick Flynn

Mary Flynn

Daneil Flynn

Micheal

Margaret

Maria

And

David Flynn(my 2X Great-Grandfather) Married Esther Selina Worrad) in 1866 at St, Chads RC Church Hockley Birmingham England)

One of their Sons was also a David Flynn Born 1875 & Baptised St, Chads, B"ham..( my great- Grandparents) & another Son Edward Flynn.

Both Flynn Brothers married my great-Grandmother Emily Louisa Cook..

Married first Edward Flynn in 1892 at St, thomas Parish church B'ham Eng..

They had two Children together Edward Charles Flynn Born 1897 & Lena(Selina) Flynn born 1895

She was Also Known by Cissie Flynn) She married a John Henry Joyce in 1916, B'ham, Eng..

Then edward flynn died in 1898

Then Emily went on to marry David Flynn & they went on to have 5 children

David flynn(my grandfather)

Joseph Flynn

Mable Flynn

Ivy Flynn

Amy St Francis Flynn

I don't know if you may have any connection to these Flynn's

But i do recall seeing a Census Of Flynn's With Joyces whom were living in Liverpool Eng & most born in Galway Eire,

Ill have to see if i can find it & send it to you..

It can difficult tracing flynn's because the surname is quite a common One in Eire like finding a smith..

I also found with Our Flynn side that they also named a lot of their children in each generation the same Christian names aswel..

Like you can see above that We have 3 generations of David Flynn's just On my ancestral line alone..

Same goes for the earlier Flynn Children that were born Galway Eire..

They also name their children after them

Patrick flynn. & so did the next generation...ect,ect

I'm still at that brick wall 10yrs later..

Hope you manage to find your ancester

Regards

Lisa.
