Hi Charles,
First, if I may suggest for future questions: A wikitree profile for the person you are asking about with any known details can be helpful to the people who would like to try and help you.
Second, keep in mind that some people do get missed (accidentally or on purpose) when the census is taken and there may not be an entry.
Third, the search results Joseph provided above appear as 3 distinct entries, however if you actually view them you will see they are the same page repeated. The record was erroneously microfilmed as part of Kinloss Twp. (District 27, B-2) but the enumerator clearly wrote district 27, no. 2 of A which is Huron Twp. It was correctly included a second time as part of Huron Twp. I suspect the Huron Twp. record is duplicated because the 1871 Census was microfilmed twice.
As an aside is the James Kingyens (b.1851) possibly the James Ketcheson Kinggens born 10 Sep 1848 and baptised 30 Jan 1851, recorded in the Wesleyan Baptismal registers? parents given as James and Sarah residing at Madoc?
