DNA, former managers blocked out

Question

A distant family member has found DNA links and now the profiles of my ancestors are all locked, which means I cannot enter and edit.  Most of the historical information on the profiles was entered by me, but I have been removed as a manager and cannot access the profile without asking to join the trusted list.  That mean a whole bunch of requests to the same person. Is this a common practice, something automatically done when DNA results are found? 

Can the parents just be locked, but the rest of the profile editable?   I might find a photo or other image to add, but cannot.  I see siblings who are pointed out as not having the X or Y markers of one or both parents.  They should be dealt with, right?

Sheri, the profile you link to is wide open, so I'm not sure which profile(s) you're saying are locked. Please advise, so we can help you figure this out.

In the meantime, I know of no relationship to DNA findings and the privacy status of profiles on Wikitree.

Hi Sheri,

Jillaine is right that there should be no connection between DNA tests entered on WikiTree and Trusted Lists.

It's possible another user removed you from the Trusted Lists, if they were on there too.
