I am confused - you say your father died in 1929 but your profile lists your birth as 1950's?

. Blair and Emily Eakin's son John Marion Eakin (age 21) married Almira Johnson (age 19)  (daugher of Henry Johnson)  1884 in Bond Illinois.

 No Josephus found there although I found one born in 1853,  who lived in 1910 in Lewis Co., WVa. with his wife Susan and children Peter and Maud.

Josephus Eakin b 8/17/1852 d 1926  married Susan Ward b 11/25/1855 d 9/1/1918

After his wife died he married my grandmother Emily Barnett - they had a son and named him Blair Eakin  Wb 8/7/1925   D 1/11/2001.Dad, Blair moved Ohio after he married Mary G. Sears.  They had 4 children: Joseph clay, James Blair, Linda Joyce and Barbara Ann.

We never reallyknee of all the Eakin Relatives.  Dad was too young when Josephus died.
