ScreenReader cannot read grave…is the exact birth date/place in 1882 FAGI James Templeton-2959? 2nd marriage in 1860? [closed]

Question

There are 2 James Templetons in Lanark Ontario at this time. Both were born in Scotland at about the same time but the other resided in Ramsay, Lanark and buried in Almont, Lanark in 1900.

Hello, Peter,

The marker is difficult to read but it does not give exact dates, only the years of birth and death. It does not give marriage dates. On the memorial page, the second marriage date is listed as 1856.

Hi Peter!

The photographer who took the photo at Find A Grave is Bruce Gordon, who states that his pics are high enough resolution to print a 4x6.  Maybe you would be able to read the detail of the memorial inscription if you were able to print a hard copy.  I don't know if the version on the website is hi-res enough, but Bruce seems approachable.
