"Private person" as daughter in open profile?

Question

I just completed a merge where there are "private" children listed as the children of someone born 1738.  I am not on the trusted list of this profile but it seems to me that these shouldn't be there.  I can't see them to merge them with other (documented) children.  Just leave them, or can they be removed?  (FYI, I completed this merge because I proposed it and the profile managers did not respond).

Thanks for doing that Linda.  I approved the merge when it was proposed.  Would you like me to add you as a manager?  I only adopted it to handle the merge.  Mags

Hi Linda,

I changed the privacy settings of the children to the appropriate setting of "Open". You should be able to see them now to continue with merges.  Thanks!

Thanks Eowyn for opening them.  Linda, there is an issue with merging forward as Love-570 and Love-16 have different fathers, different DOB and Different Location of birth.  Both are linked to Dorcas Bell as Wife.  This one of the ones where I would like to see the original Gedcom notes!  Mags
