WikiTree profile: Betsey Ray
in Genealogy Help by
Kentucky didn’t become a state until 1792, so her records would be in Virginia if they exist.  It looks like more than one woman is combined in this profile.  It would be virtually unheard of for a woman born on the  Virginia frontier in 1780 to move to, and die, in New Hampshire.  People migrated west and south, not north and east in this time.

It seems to me that there is a real problem with Betsey's three husbands. I suspect there is at least a possibility that William Ray, William Hay, and Samuel Ray are all the same person, or that at least William Ray and William Hay are the same person. William and Samuel Ray could be brothers.
