Here is another mysterious Galbraith - some of the progeny lacks sourcing, too

Might there be an accessible source for Clan Galbraith? A fair amount of the historic Galbraiths are in Bruke's Peerage*, but that only gets you so far and one would think that branches such of this would have a connection to the main line, somewhere. . .

The Clan Galbraith site is limited, as they only fully open their research to membership. (See also: Galbraith, Bruce W and Galloway, Col T L, compiler. Galbraiths of The Lennox. 1994. Citing archives of Culcreuch Castle.) 

Turns out that even to this day, they have a patriarchal bent and are holding a chiefdom in abeyance unless a male direct descendant can be located.
