Do you know my parents? Edward Blewett b 1825, England

Question

Brick wall Ancestor,Edward Blewett, b ~1825 in England. None of the Edward Blewetts born in England around this time pan out.

Distant autosomal DNA connections (6 - 8 cMs) to various matches with Blewett ancestors who all link up to the same ancestor.

Y-DNA has no Blewett matches. Have compared with one male Blewett descendant and they are different halo types.

I am looking for untapped resources, have used Ancestry, FamilySearch, My Heritage, Cornwall database among others

Any suggestions other than brute force, reverse mapping the Blewett family tree?

I've got some Blewett ancestors in Cornwall and have done an Ancestry DNA test. I've just done a Gedmatch compare with the two DNA test takers on your profile and have come up with this result on A909170 (your dad?): I

Largest segment = 7.3 cM

Total Half-Match segments (HIR) = 7.3 cM (0.202 Pct)
Estimated number of generations to MRCA = 7.5

1 shared segments found for this comparison.

I'm really not very knowledgeable abut DNA I think this means that there's a relationship about 7 or 8 generations back. My Blewett tree goes quite far back so it might be that you could find your Edward Blewett - or perhaps ancestors further back - in my line?
