GED Match comparison - receiving error messages

Looking for assistance in matching.  On one of my relatives I have 3 others that have posted their DNA. Two of us have GED match.  If I compare both of our tests I receive an error message on GED match "(1508) ERROR: Kit TU2446351 not found".  This has happened on several comparisons.  Am I doing something wrong?  Did I load the test incorrectly?

I have been trying to figure GED match out for sometime now by watching videos and reading but for some reason it's not clicking with me.

Have you been to Gedmatch lately? They have established an opt-in/opt-out feature for police searches. When I was choosing my wish, I noticed that the default position for Wikitree was opt-out.

I believe everyone will have to go to Genesis GED match and change this until Wikitree honchos work it out.

That kit ID is from GEDmatch Genesis. Only the kits (from the old GEDmatch) that begin with one letter (i.e. A786215) can be accessed from WikiTree. Just copy the kit ID from the profile and paste it into a one-to-one comparison on GEDmatch Genesis.

Rumor has it, WikiTree and GEDmatch are working on a solution. Hopefully, one day soon we can do the comparisons from WikiTree on all kits.
