Does anybody Know a "John Eldred Yule" born Feburary 5, 1897 in Canada?

Question

I can not locate a Birth or Death certificate  for "John Eldred Yule" .  He was born February 5, 1897 in Okanagan Landing, British Colombia, Canada.  He died I am told December 31,1939 or January 1, 1949 in Pasadena, California. Can any one tell me more about him?

They have it available at the archives in Victoria, but that's all I could get online. Depending on his religion, you may want to contact The Spallumcheen Methodist Mission fonds to see if they have anything on record.

My name is John Eldred Yule. Eldred Yule was my grandfather whom I never met. My father was John Joseph Yule and his mother was Bertha Romer Yule whom I also never met. A copy Eldred's obituary states date ot death as December 31, 1939.

Bertha died young I believe from a kidney problem. My dad is buried in Sierra Madre Pioneer Cemetery, Sierra Madre California and Eldred and Bertha are buried at Mountain View Cemetery in  Pasadena California. I might be able to provide more info if you are interested.

His father was Joseph Browning Yule and Mother was Mary He worked as a furior. He applied for citizenship on 21 Feb 1927.   He Married Bertha Romer.  He died 31 Dec 1939 in Pasadena, California
