I am searching for the parents of James Stewart (24 MAR 1689 • Neilston, Renfrewshire, Scotland). I have been trying to further trace my Stuart/Stewart ancestors, to little effect. James' relationship to myself is speculative and requires the confirmation of his alleged Great-grandson William Stuart (b.ABT 1770• County, Donaghmore, Tyrone, Northern Ireland) as sire to my 4th-GGF William Stevenson Stuart (b.1798,Larne,Antrim, Northern Ireland.). I'd appreciate any help on this.
