Hi and Bonjour
I am Australian and have direct ancestors with the name van Asse,specifically Tanneke (Anna) van Asse living in London 1583 (is her marriage date to Rogier (Roger) Vercolje. I am always looking for matches for that side of my family as they are fairly scarce and most are written in Dutch (Belgian) which I don't understand.
I realise this a long shot a smost geneaology is, but the similar spelling of van Asse and Vanasse has led me to the Vanasse tree. As I am preparing Tanneke's profile now if there was any connection between us it would be very timely.
If you could reply it would be much appreciated.
