Canadian forces posted to Alaska in WW2

Question

My father was in the RCAF and was posted to the Aleutian Islands during WW2.  Is there a project or a badge or anything for that?  

Today is his birthday -- if he were still alive, he would be 99.

Thanks, Santino!  I have visited that site, and i looked again to see if it had changed, but it only provides info if the serviceman was killed during the war or died as a result of the war.  My father lived till ripe old age, which is fortunate in almost all regards except for access to the records on that website.  It is possible, however, to request the information, and now they even have a genealogy package! So i will read through his memoirs again to see it he mentioned his service number.  I don't think he did!

Any luck getting his service number?  The people at Archives could maybe look it up, they're pretty helpful at the genealogy desk.  I got my great uncles service record which went into the 60s, it was interesting reading.  Took a few months though, with the back log of requests.
