Looking for info for Father of Samuel Fowler

Hi everyone,

I am trying to find any info/records about Samuel Fowler’s Father (Fowler-10804)

On Family search it has his father listed as a Robert Fowler born in Keysoe, Bedfordshire, England. His death is listed about 1691. 

So here is where I’m stuck here I have no sources for him or his wif who on family search has the name of Dorothy and no last name for her and she was born in 1634 in Keysoe,Bedfordshire, England and she died September, 8, 1691 in Keysoe,Bedfordshire, England. I have no way of adding either of them with no sources since they were pre 1700. Please help.

He was listed as Sammuel, the son as Samuel.

On findmypast - is this possible?

No because on family search the spelling should be correct right? I need to find out who entered it in. His birth year says 1630 and death said about 1691. Also it says his mother’s name is Mary Winslow she was born in 1592 win Wiltshire, England and she died in 1659 in Wiltshire, England. But no husband listed which would be a Fowler.  Let me know if that brings up something new.

Part of the issue maybe that Keysoe was in Huntingdonshire not Bedfordshire at that time.  Try broadening the search a bit.

There is a Sam Fowler who marries Mrs Ann Radcliffe (presumably a widow) in Flitton, Bedfordshire on 21 August 1673. As that ties in with the Ann recorded as Samuel's mother in 1685 that may work.  Flitton is 13 miles south of Keysoe so it's not unreasonable.
