Richard Sands b. circa 1850-1860

Question

My great grandmother was Sarah Annie ( Anne) Sands. Her wedding certificate lists her father as Richard Sands and her mother as Helen Woodward, but that's the only record i find. She was born in 1876 by record but the marriage certificate says she was 19yo when married in 1889. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

From what i can gather from an 1880 Federal Census, Richard Sands was born in Maryland and his wife Helen was born in England. That's the sum total of what I've been able to learn.

I believe this was in the US, either in Maryland or Pennsylvania. But unable to be certain of place.
