What a tangled web we weave?

I am related to him on both sides of my family. He is my eleventh cousin on my father's side of the family. Also, I am a Jordan/King descendant on my mother's side of the family. In addition to that, I am a Hussey descendant on my mother's side of the family. Does anyone care to walk with me on this one?

Well, you seem to know your connections to the man, and you didn't mention any blockages or potholes or detours, fallen trees, nor how overflow from a creek or river over-ran the path you are following and ... was there a problem? Of any kind?
There is a bit of a detour. My father was born and raised 2,000 miles away from my mother. Not to mention, my mother was his second wife if not third or fourth. Which makes my half sister my cousin as well.
There is one small problem. How do I connect this King/Jordan family with my King/Jordan family?
Not to mention, that I have to see if there is a connection between the Hussey family of William King with my Hussey family.

Well, if you've clawed your way up the family tree and spent $$ to prove your autosomals, you should be set for parents, the four grand parents, the eight great grands, and 16 great great grands, yes?

To get reliably farther back in time than that you'd need Y-DNA and mtDNA

Presumed you have a paper trail of documents that confirm relationships on backward in time, to this William King? That none of this is without documentation?

I guess that I am in the minority. I have family members who have done the research for me. All that I have to do is find the documents associated with each individual.
I can relate to that -- Hosanna to all those who have located, scanned or transcribed, duly authorized documents and posted them online

Hi Howard!

It is fun, isn't it! I think our family tree work will help us all grow extra brain synapses and also ward off Alzheimers!  Certainly good mental exercise getting our heads around it all!

Cheers

I have not found reference to a William King.  The Kings of my family are originally from the Netherlands, from there to Pa and later to Logan Co, OH.  You are welcome to view my King family tree.
