The Greeter Gang are Wonderful Wikitreers

Question

I know these are generally used for one person, but I would like to make an exception and nominate all my fellow greeters, they have all helped me a lot, and I appreciate all of them, and they do a great job  xxx

Thanks Karen Butler,  for the praise for all the Greeters.  I see Pip, Dorothy, Virginia, Deb, Hilary, David Selman and all I missed.. By the way thanks to you also, Dave Rutherford and Jerry Baraboo for thinking of us. However we owe it to the guidance of the Greeter Leaders, Debi and Cindy..

What an awesome gesture Karen! Sometimes one might think they are by themselves but through the google group and G2G forum we keep each other up and motivatived. No question goes unanswered. Someone has experienced a certain situation themselves and is willing to share. Leadership encourages and takes our suggestions to heart. That is true teamwork. Way to go Greeter gang!!

The Greeter Gang are truly the Greatest Gang. I was happy to rejoin you all after having a break and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Karen is a real stalwart putting in many hours each week. you all deserve a big pat on the back.

I LOVE my fellow Greeters! What a great group to work with. I believe that the Greeters Project is the only that I know of that, in the midst of all our duties, shares our lives with one another nearly every day. 

It’s fantastic how we lean on each other for advice handling sometimes difficult queries by guests and volunteers.

I couldn't agree more, Karen. Our Greeters Gang is the best and I'd be lost without you all. I may not express it very often or jump in to the camaraderie but I read every one of them and it makes my heart sing. Knowing you all are there cheering each other on and covering as needed makes the Greeters Project so easy to help lead. Thanks so much from a very lucky co-leader of the Greatest Gang!!!

We are very lucky to have two great leaders like you and Cindy, can you believe I spent weeks umming and ahhing over whether to join or not, it was the best decision I made, you all made it so easy to feel at home here, we know you jump in whenever you are able, sometimes it can be hard to get a word in edgeways and we would be lost without you  xxx

I don't think we have a WikiTree meme that expresses how grateful I am for each and every person in the Greeter's Group (our Greatest Gang). Debi and Cindy have led the group by admirable example and collectively the group has done so much for the new (and old) members of WikiTree. I'll have to settle for passing out Greeter cookies with my humble thank you to you all:

Wow, you all are overwhelming me with such joy!  It ALWAYS is wonderful to be part of such an amazing, caring, compassionate, salt-of-the-earth group of individuals!  Thank you for this particular post Ms Karen!  Each of you is so vital to all we do here and I believe the Greeter Project is the very best project in all of WikiTree!  Yep, I sure do!!  Guess that is why all these happy drops are falling down my face!  Words are not enough to say how wonderful and how important each of us and the sum of us is to me~thank you all for allowing me to be a part of this Greatest Gang!
